    Amu walked up the steps of her school; the lights that decorated the entire entrance were beautiful and dazzled her. Amu wore her red dress she had on, she never wore the one she bought at the store because Miki kept criticizing her about how she wanted to design the dress for her, and eventually she won the war and she picked up her paint brush and went to work. The dress she had picked at the store that hung on in her closet which she kept thinking of going back home to get, but she decided it was now or never.
“Amu you look beautiful.” Ran said.
“You look very cute desu.” Suu said.
“You think so, it’s not too much?” Amu asked.
“My design looks beautiful on you Amu, all u have to do now is have fun.” Miki said.
       Miki also deigned dress for ever Shugo chara, and she wouldn’t let anyone go through the night without wearing them. Once she got inside, saw many people dancing to the beat of the music from the DJ and everyone with a smile on their faces. Amu looked around for her friends and saw Yaya jumping up and down screaming “Amu-chii!!” and she ran over to them.
“Amu-chii, what happened to the other dress?” Amu looked over to Miki who just mumbled on about how much better it looked. Everyone went to the dance floor and danced, Amu felt the rush of a great feeling inside her, seeing her friends smile, having a good time, and yet, something was missing.
Flash Back……

“The dance at the school? Hmmm… Well I guess I’ll just have to go to the dance to.”
“huh?” She blushed as she envisioned him in a tuxedo.
“Well see you then, Amu.” He walked into the crowed and as she tried to case after him, lost sight of him in the crowed
End of Flash Back…..

Amu stopped dancing and looked around for Ikuto but with no luck she decided to walk around to look for him, but Tadase grabbed her hand.
“What’s wrong, Hinamori?” he asked her as a slow dance came on.
“I-I just want to go say hello to some of my other friends is all.”
“Who?”  Amu looked around trying to find somebody she knew, desperately trying to get out of Tadase’s grip, and then she found someone.
“Just a really good friend.” Tadase looked over to where her glance was and saw Ikuto smiling and her.
“Why do you want to talk to that cat thief?”  Anger suddenly filled in Amu, anger she never knew she would feel against him.
“He’s my friend, I can be friends with whoever I want you have no right to keep me here Tadase. Now let me go.”
“If you go with that guy, I’m telling you’re making a big mistake.”
“Are you saying that if I’m his friend I can’t be yours either, well, I want to be his friend because he won’t tell me who and who not to be friends with!” Amu realizes what she has said and then feels a bit sorry, but it was true! Nobody can tell you who to be friends with and who not to.
“Tadase, I think Ikuto himself isn’t a bad person, it’s just he works for the wrong people.” Kuukia said.
“Everyone has to find their own path, even if they start off on the wrong one.” Nagehiko said.
Amu looked over to Ikuto who smiled at her. “I believe that he will turn over to a better side, because, I believe, Ikuto himself is a good person. Don’t you think so to Tasase? Everybody, even if you can’t tell from the outside, there a is good inside them, just waiting to blossom and to take the hurt and damage away.”
“…… i-I guess I understand that….. fine. Go on Amu.” She started running to Ikuto after Tadase whispered that he was sorry.
She ran to Ikuto and the slow song continued.
